I like books that offer a clear step-by-step path to get to a goal. This is one such plus, is really easy to follow.
It is a mix of a personal story and a way of doing things. Dr. Harmon talks about her own life and makes it easy for people to understand and get inspired. She takes complex business ideas and shows how they work through her own experiences.
This makes it fun to learn, and readers can relate to her real stories. She introduces the "Move to Millions® Method", a practical and actionable strategy that empowers business owners to move closer to, and ultimately surpass, the million-dollar mark. The author's insights provide a much-needed confidence boost and offer a step-by-step approach to navigating the challenges that often hinder small businesses from reaching their full potential.

I have rated tons of books; however, I have NEVER rated a book where the difficulty in articulating the best part of the book is REAL! Purchase this book NOW! I have read it twice and have listened to the audio version twice. I am most impacted by the fact that Darnyelle tells it ALL in this book! If you follow her proven framework, there is no way you will not move to millions!
The discussion around the Success Mindset and acceptance that millions are our birthright hit home for me. Oh and...her analogies "you need all of the ingredients", as an example, sets the tone for the work to be done from the first chapter.
Finally, gaining insight into ALL of the requirements to move to millions is the ticket!

This book starts with praise and reviews from others.
Story I enjoy because it's not all rules but real life lessons.
The author can recall her early years and how things that happened then tell her what she must do to promote herself and her brand.
What I love right off the bat is when she is with her aunt and they lay out all the ingredients for a cake they are going to cook. I still do this myself, even if it's just a few ingredients. Sound call here!
Each chapter goes from subject to subject and why things are done in certain order and it all makes sense as the author describes. There is a summary of the chapter and also a story from a client who used the particular subject to make her mark.
I have also used the advice during a craft show I was part of at the end of October. Instead of just a plain layette that I had knit, I included the blanket and a baby shower bag along with tissue paper and a card for the newborn. It went over so well, everything was included in this gift the person didn't have to go from store to store to put it all together. I had done it.
So many life lessons throughout this story that I can resonate with in my life over the years.
Beautiful hard lessons to learn the hard way, author makes it sound so easy and simple, it’s a lot of hard work also.
Also understand why author didn't understand about money. My grandson who's a senior has life sciences and is learning about checking account, credit cards, finance charges etc so they can survive the real world.
So much advice and enjoy stories from other clients as it relates to what they learned from the author.
Innovative sound advice throughout the book, with a touch of faith in God and yourself. Love statistical charts that show the results and how you can follow them along so you make the right decisions.
Excellent resource book to keep referencing throughout your years climbing to the top.

Reading this book, Move to Millions, has completely transformed my business mindset and has already made a tangible improvement in the way I do business. As a business owner for over 9 years, I have read a number of books and been a part of a number of programs to grow my business. That's how I know that the information in this book is actually worth tens of thousands of dollars or more when it comes to the ROI the reader can get from implementing Darnyelle Jervey Harmon's clear guidance.
Not only does the book feature very tangible strategies for how to hone in on marketing, sales, HR, operations, and other strategies for businesses to get to and beyond the million-dollar mark, but it also touches on other very specific character traits of being a business owner that can make or break someone's ability to have a successful business. The book also features Darnyelle's own inspirational story where she is extremely transparent about her own challenges that she endured and surpassed on the way to the million-dollar (and multi-million dollar) mark. It also features a number of stories of individuals who utilized the strategies she shares to exponentially grow their business revenue.
During and after reading the book, I completely shifted my sales approach and sales goals for the remainder of this fiscal year, I revamped my talent management system, and I had an interview today to hire a new Executive Assistant for my business who will be implementing key strategies to grow my business. My confidence and belief in my ability to reach my dream revenue number have skyrocketed as well! I'm so grateful that this book exists and look forward to sharing it with my other colleagues in business as well!

This book is the epitome of transparent excellence! Dr. Darnyelle weaves her childhood stories, young adult stories and current vivid depictions of her business momentum into the framework of how we think about money and how we manifest our beliefs about it into our business and personal lives. One point I found indelible is that she stated in her book money is mental first before it moves. Then, she illustrates what she means plainly and vulnerably with such power and intentionality that it makes me jot down, rehearse and implement into my life and business.

This was easy to read, and while it does contain strategies that can help business owners, it can also be read as a memoir if that interests you more than the business side of the book. I loved learning about Harmon’s journey, and getting little snippets of her life along with the more important business aspects of things. I loved how accessible the writing was, I never felt lost or bored, and the writing was never dry. Both helpful and inspiring, this book is perfect for business owners looking to take things to the next level, and those who enjoy a good memoir.

I received an advanced copy of Move to Millions and really enjoyed it! You not only get a solid framework to glean from, but you also get the gift (and yes, it is a gift) of Darnyelle's authentic and transparent sharing from her own journey. I appreciated reading the "God stories" along the way and how His grace empowered her growth. I highlighted quite a bit as I was reading which means that this is a book that I will pick up off my shelf again and re-read.

The reviews seem to be fake, and the top review is obviously from an account that just gives books 4 to 5 star reviews.
