If you are looking for a book that is easy to read and a light with a simple message, you just may have found the ideal book. It will not take you long, but you will find some little gems of wisdom within the simple anecdotes the author tells.

Most of her stories did not resonate with me, but it is clear that she is able to see messages in her simplest of life experiences. There are a couple choice words (mild warning to the more sensitive readers), but I cannot say I felt truly offended. She was kind enough to leave out an objectionable detail in her toilet story (that one was a hoot!).

What could have made this better? I generally do not comment on the typos in a manuscript, but I do hope that later editions will correct the issues because once in a while the typos made it very difficult to decipher the meaning. But I did not mark the book down for that reason.

While I appreciated the brevity of each anecdote, I sometimes found that I was unable to connect with the story or even understand the meaning of the story. I also would have preferred the stories to be a little more organized thematically. Those are just my personal opinions. I would still recommend it as a delightful read for the majority of people. I love the story about the cat!

I was provided with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated in any way, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

K. Blue has really shown some light with this novel. She uses personal experiences in her life and what she learned from them to try and help us with things that happen in out daily lives. K. had me laughing at some parts, shaking my headÌýand thinkingÌý"Oh dear, that's not good" in others.

I was kind of sad to reach the end of the book. It was interesting to learn about the things that she went through. But overall, I loved it. She takes us through good lessons, and I think it would help all of us even in the smallest of ways to read Ordinary Wisdom.

I loved this book and think it's definitely worth reading!

I am loving this book! The stores are short, easy reads. Some are cute, some funny but all have a very real feel that makes it easy to identify with the author.
