When a former cult member and a Christian Dominatrix start a s*x business together, they find submission to one another is the greatest challenge of all.
DOMME & DOMMER brings comedy to cult recovery and kink when Stella, a missionary on Guam, meets enigmatic Dominatrix Marlene who dubs her a “Baby Domme.” Emboldened to leave her joyless marriage and the confines of a cult, Stella flees to Los Angeles where she is exposed to the s*xy and sad!stic world of B*D*S*M. She excitedly explores her dominance and the burgeoning desire to pop her sapphic cherry. However, upon starting a s*x business together, Stella suspects the mysterious Marlene is not all that she claims.
Sophia Domina is a professional Dominatrix, seasoned filmmaker, and journalist of 25 years who has produced work for CNN, National Geographic, The Dallas Morning News, and Jezebel. When she’s not penning erotica, she teaches female domination workshops and produces kinky immersive theater. She resides at her own “Domton Abbey” in LA.
What a book! The story was unlike anything I have read before. You find yourself rooting for Stella as she escapes her religious cult and navigates the world of BDSM. The book is funny and full of spot on pop culture references. At the same time it explores incredibly hot D/s dynamics in a way that has to be seen to be believed. Let's just say that this book left me with more fantasies than I started with.
I hope to continue Stella's story (sequel perhaps?) and until then I'll be rereading this!
Touching and witty, I couldn’t put it down. This book is a wild eye opening read that gives a glimpse into the lives of the people who come knocking on our door on Saturday mornings! The journey from bible thumper to professional sex queen is wildly interesting, at times depressing but also mostly hilarious!
