Sometimes, dreams come true.
And, sometimes…
They seem too good to be true.

So many questions, one affirmation…I am in love with Alexander Tate. Everything I've dreamed of was standing right in front of me. My ultimate fantasy come true. My more. So, why am I running?

Aby Ryan spent twelve years doubting herself…Can she really learn to trust others before learning to trust herself?

Alex and Aby's story continues in the powerfully sensual sequel in The Perfect Plans series, Take a Bow. The final instalment of their story is wrought with jealousy, endless desire, sinfully decadent sex, betrayal, humour, empowerment and, of course, love.

Mature Content: This story contains sexually explicit material and is intended for mature individuals over the age of eighteen. By downloading this book and opening this document, you are stating that you are of legal age to access and view this work of fiction.

Co-Authors, and sisters, Christa Gibbs and Jill Syed reside in Ontario, Canada. Born and raised on da’Rock [a.k.a. St. John’s, Newfoundland], their laid back personalities and eclectic sense of humor is indicative of their native roots. Although fluent in Newfinese, both are quite eloquently spoken, showing no remnants of an accent unless alcohol is involved.

Fluent in air-guitar [she trained in Europe], Christa, by day, transforms into her Executive role in the Property Management World. This wonderful position lends credence to her altruistic life experiences lived vicariously through the many residents within her keep. This translates beautifully to her evening endeavors, which include creating lovable characters and interesting storylines. An avid reader of erotic romance [upwards of two to three novels per week], Christa decided to give her own incessant fairytale sex-capade fantasies a voice.

When she is not behind the camera in her Photography Studio, Jill spends portions of her days mentally cataloging all the reasons why she shouldn’t become an indulgent drinker at the helm of her three young children [though you will hear her undying love and devotion for them often: “blessed”]. Passionately creative, Jill spent many years capturing life moments on film, canvas and even paper. Having dabbled in the writing of many children’s books, all of which ended up covered in dust and never carried through, clarity hit once she collaborated with her sister: “Ohhh, the steamy sex was the missing ingredient”.

Let me start at the beginning of this book. Liam's voice, though very brief, left a significant impression. Despite loving Alex, I couldn't help but love Liam too, though I hardly know him. Kudos to the authors for a very well-phrased opening. No introduction was needed. Liam took a piece of my heart with that short conversation. I really hope he gets his own story and HEA.

Now on to our couple..

Aby was back in Canada and Alex followed her. I was glad authors chose not to prolong the much needed talk between the two. Whereas book 1 was about the struggles that Aby's dream man lived in a world so different from her own and how she would fit in it, book 2 was about living in his world and embracing everything that came with being a famous celebrity's girlfriend. It was time to prove that reality cannot change the way they feel for each other.

The love this two shared was intense and passionate. When I read, I love getting lost in the story, feeling what the characters feel. When I read about Alex and Aby's love, I had goosebumps. When they were going through something, I felt stirrings at the pit of my stomach. That's when I knew I felt connected to the story.

Alex, despite his success, wealth and fame, remained grounded. There was a side of him that stayed shy and humble; and despite women obviously in awe of a moviestar like him, he was like any normal guy who was scared to lose the woman he loved. He was determined to prove to her that although his life was like a fantasy to so many, his feelings were real and he needed her to trust in his love.

There was a line that was repeatedly mentioned in this book. "It was all about perception." How do you hold on to that trust when perceptions can be a good or a bad thing? When everything you see was open to interpretation? In life, how often do we make mistakes because we made the wrong assumptions based on what we saw or heard? That was one of the things that this couple had to deal with. With Alex's celebrity status, it was difficult to look past what appeared on the surface, or to see what was real beneath. They needed the ability to survive the darkest of storms and fight for their love, their dream.

Alex and Aby's love story can be summed up by a quote mentioned in the book:

“A perfect love is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Snagged an ARC of Take A Bow... saying goodbye is hard but how lucky we are to have known these wonderful characters.

If you are a fan of the Perfect Plans series then this book is everything you ever wanted in your ultimate fantasy with Alexander Tate. Take A Bow picks up right where Perfect Plans ends and does not disappoint with its HOT HOT HOT - HOTNESS, gasping twists and roller-coaster turns. C.J. Wells give you an up close and personal look at what it might actually be like to date a famous celebrity -- and it's not always champagne, roses and orgasms (Okay, there are still PLENTY of orgasms. It is Alex after all, but you know what I'm saying...).

Oh Yeah - gif image

At times I wanted to smack the heck out of self-doubting Aby. At other times I wanted to punch Alpha Alex. The writing is so emotionally charged that you really connect with the characters, and that's a good thing. Take A Bow is not all serious. The balance of steamy romance and humor shines through just as it did in Perfect Plans. Oh, and no worries, Aby's sharp tongued BFF Stacey is back with wicked laughs and jaw-dropping inappropriateness.

Maintaining any relationship is hard and usually it's just two people involved in the romance, but for Aby and Alex it's way more layered. Agents, fans, publicists, other famous people, friends, families and exes... Holy Cow! In Take A Bow, you see how Aby and Alex navigate through all these outside factors that create more challenges and obstacles, making it difficult for them to have any kind of normalcy.

This is where C.J. Wells excel in their captivating writing. Not only do they not oversell the fantasy, they fulfill the readers expectations while staying true to the characters. Fans of the series are in for a sexy delicious ride with an ending for Aby and Alex that couldn't be more PERFECT.

Thank you for giving us this wonderful story, C.J. Wells.

This book was such a blast!! I loved it from page one! It started out quickly which I really liked. I love these two characters so much. There was lots of intensity, never a dull moment. You want to cheer for them! You want smooth sailing. Keep Dreaming...
Is there such a thing as smooth sailing in any relationship? You want to kiss Alex one minute and kill him the next!! Aby is awesomely frustrating! You'll want to yell at her!! You probably will yell at her! You kinda want to pull them off the pages and tell them to "snap out of it and grow up"!!
My fave character Stacey is up to her same old tricks!! God I adore her snark!! I hope they write a book for her!! She needs her own Story!! {CJ, are you listening??}
Take A Bow took me through a host of emotions. First, it was sexually intense (spicy, just the way I like it). Second, I cried more than usual. Cudos to the authors for getting me so involved with the characters! Third, I Laughed my ass off!
I was entertained from cover to cover!!
It took me away from my reality for a little while. I needed the escape and this story gave it to me.
I realize that a lot of reviewers will spill the beans about an entire book. I won't ever give a review like that.
I guess the bottom line is that I loved the book! It was fun! It was super sexy and I fell in love with Mr Tate all over again.
Isn't that the reason we read romance books to begin with?
Do yourself a favor and one click this book!

Again, Aby finds her in Canada, this time the love of her life runs after her. When Aby finally decides to let fate play out and goes after Alex after she screws up again, the fairy tale continues. What is better than making up with the World's Hottest Man? Making up on a private Caribbean Island. Having sex from minute one until they have to leave for LA, is everything Aby ever imagined.

There are many ups and many downs in this particular book. Miscommunications, mistrust, and low self-esteem keep the couple from living their happily ever after. When they are together, they burn up the pages and when they are apart, they rip out your heart and find yourself crying. I know I was.

If you know me at all, me crying while reading is a good thing. That means I connect with the characters and I did. The whole Aby/Alex relationship is believable. It wasn't all a whirlwind and happy happy all the time.

I read both books in one day. I just couldn't put them down. Food shopping was delayed a couple of hours because I HAD to finish the book! A definite bottle book! (A book you will lean against a soda bottle while you cook, because you can't put it down.)

Wow!! Talk about a sequel! I laughed, I cried (and I mean CRIED), sniffled afterwards for HOURS, only to be swept away in this unbelievable love story. C.J. Wells wrote the perfect ending for this series. Many of the unknowns from book one were answered in book two, which I LOVED! Many of the resolutions and outcomes were exactly as I'd hoped, however written in such a way that I was unable to predict or foresee them. Very well done! I truly recommend this series to anyone who loves a delicious romance. I cannot wait to read more from C.J. Wells. They are now on my automatic ONE CLICK list. Way to go on a PERFECT series!

SO AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC!! I could not put this book down. I think I went through the gamut of emotions throughout the entire story. I went from wanting to completely pommel Aby for her daft stupidity and ignorance, to shake her and wake her up from her own insecurities. The characters were so perfect in there imperfectness that you had to fall in love with them. Must read!!

You will need to have read Perfect Plans first, as Take A Bow picks up right where book one finishes.

And what a sequel we have in Take A Bow!!

At the end of Perfect Plans I was all

how could you do this to me? How could you do this to Alex and Aby.

Take A Bow swept me away with Alex and Aby's whirlwind romance. I laughed, I smiled, I cried. I wanted to shake some sense into Alex and Aby at times, I mean really, really shake some sense into them!

But wow when this pair have their shit together, holy crap!!

I swear that girl must have walked funny for months!!! When they have their sexy times, oh boy do they have their sexy times!!

And talk about twists and turns! There were a few things unresolved from the first book that carried over into this second book, and the journey they took to get resolved was all part of the fun and games of reading.

So, can Alex and Aby overcome their miscommunications, misunderstandings and mistrust? Can they have their fairytale HEA?

For that you will have to read for yourself.

There are some fantastic secondary characters in this series. I love love LOVE Aby's best friend Stacey. She is just a hoot and had me laughing out loud more than once.

There are also some other characters, that like me you are going to hate. Seriously hate. Jump into the kindle and smash them in the face with a brick hate - I think you catch my drift!

Thank you ladies for giving us Alexander "The Great" Tate.

Both books are mind-numbingly boring.
Bad writing, little or no research that I can detect regarding British language usage or London in general; if you'r going to set your story in a country/town other than your own, with character from a different culture please do a little research . It took book 2 for the authors to learn how to spell C.H.A.M.P.A.G.N.E. There was wall to wall sex and though I'm normally a fan of a bit of sexy times in my fiction, this was so gratuitous I found myself skimming through it, though I suppose I should be thankful, as it left me with only half the amount of pages to actually read.

But the real problem for me lay in the fact that you could tell that this was written by two different people, which I'm sure isn't what is meant by 'co-authors'. There were times when Alex Tate sounded like a very, very, very bad knock-off of a Jane Austen character, with convoluted, stilted and nonsensical structured dialogue. I'm assuming this was meant to make him more 'British'? Please believe, though our country is amazingly historical, we have moved into the 21st century along with everyone else. And at other he was an American jock, never did he sound like a British A-lister.

So I say, and not for the first time.. Authors, if you are too lazy to do any viable, credible research stick to what you know!

“When I met you, I walked into a fantasy. You… you are my fantasy. But it comes with a reality I wasn’t prepared for, as much as I thought I could be… for you.”

This book continued where the last one left off. There reunion was perfect. It wasn’t easy; it was realistic and true to their characters. I loved the way Alexander challenged Aby to face some hard truths in her life, but also how he loved and supported her. And boy did he love her… Mercy! (Don’t worry, we’ll get to that…)
“If I’m the devil, Aby, you are the angel that will save me”

Just like the last book, the character development is probably my favorite part of the book. They are well rounded characters with great humor and chemistry. The group of friends surrounding the main couple is fabulous! I really felt like I could sit down at a bar with this group and hang all night. I LOVE STACEY! She had me laughing out loud throughout the book.
“I’m reading Stacey’s texts. She’s nuts.”

Obviously any girl would be thrilled to be "Alexander-Tated" but I what I really loved in this book was how much Aby grew and changed, she really found herself in this story. She gained self-confidence and great strength. Being in a relationship with Alex is not easy but she sure as hell figured it out.

There were so many great moments in this book. Good and bad, I was riveted but the flow of the story. There were some crazy OMG moments followed by twists that I just simply not expecting. I held my breath more than once and hoped that the angst would end soon. What I loved was that there was a balance between the drama and the romance. Despite what was happening, there is no doubt that Aby and Alexander had amazing chemistry. I hate to give anything away in a review, but I will tell you that I was dying while reading the drunken text messages. Oh my… And the steam level in this book falls under the rating of “Holy Hell Hot!” We are talking Threat Level Red. Be prepared with a partner or a cold shower nearby as you read this one!!!!
“Cocky, Mr. Tate?”

The epilogue was great! I was grinning like a fool as I read. The fun and sexiness were both present as always, but the sweetness was wonderful! It was the perfect conclusion.
Not tonight, Miss Ryan. Tonight is about new beginnings.”

I’m really going to miss these two. I hope they show up again soon.

I give this book 4 solid stars

Did you read Perfect Plans? Yes, ok continue on to read my review.
Oh, Aby… Why must you be so difficult? Can’t you see Alex is trying.
The Perfect Plans I constantly did not want to trust Alex. It was so hard, because why? Well the message is clear; it’s too good to be true.
Book two I was right back on the roller coaster of Aby’s what if’s.

Just like book one’s review, I could only give it four stars.

Reason 1: Seriously, too much sex. I know, I know, is that even possible. But damn, every chapter is mostly them getting it on. At first it was hot, but after a while it was ok, they are having sex again. And, no I am not a prude, I love sex and I love reading about it. However, I did start to skip paragraphs and pages just to move the story along.
Reason #2: My INNER… Ok, it was annoying when I read this over and over in 50 shades of grey. I really thought the only time I am ever go to read my inner anything would be describe your insides melting or something like that.
I did find myself rolling my eyes to the cliché line. Plus there were moments I would yell to the books Gods, why, why did they have to add that?

BUT…. Don’t let that stop you from reading a book that will melt your insides out. The writers created characters that flowed so well with the words it was hard at times to put the book down.

The ending was PERFECT! The titles to each book clever and classy. The covers matched perfect. The writers did a wonderful job and I look forward to reading many more of their books.

Yes, these writers can write about sex in so many different ways!

I cannot tell you how much I loved this series. Perfect Plans had me hooked! I've read it over and over again anxiously anticipating the release of Take a Bow, and now that it's finally here, oh my god! I couldn't have asked for a better ending to Alex and Aby's story. As with Perfect Plans, I was immediately engrossed, and pulled so deep into their story that I didn't want to let it go. The up and downs, the laughs, the cries, the frustration, the self doubt...I was so thoroughly captivated and I felt like it was me!

I think C.J. Wells nailed the ideal of a regular woman meeting and falling in love with a celebrity right on the head. Not a fantastical version of it, but the real life deal - a woman who's vulnerable, unsure of herself, and insecure trying to manage a surreal relationship with a famous actor. Totally believable. But yet, then there's the hero, Alexander "the Great" Tate, who's also trying to navigate a normal relationship despite his world-famous existence. I simply loved the believability and felt for both characters throughout their trials and discoveries.

And, let's not forget Stacey! The best best friend EVER! I have never laughed so hard during a book. The things that came out of her mouth! She's the perfect side character. Then there's the villains, who I wanted to b**** slap several times. Just perfect, to be honest. The perfect ending to the perfect series! I totally recommend these books. If you haven't read them, get to it!

Thank you C.J. Wells for bringing us this story. It's one I definitely won't forget and will likely read over and over again. :)

Great book! We pick up right where the first book ends which left me a little shocked & couldn't wait to see more of Alex & Aby!

This book like the 1st, isn't short on sexy scenes! Good lord! Everywhere they went they were ripping panties & getting after it! That wasn't all tho! It was intense with twists & turns on every flippin page! I was biting my nails reading this book! It was the perfect mix of drama, hate, love & strong personalities! I like the way it wasn't always rainbows & sunshine! There was real life drama!

Alex! He's your strong alpha! He's strong, sweet, HOT & sexy! I was fanning myself many times with this one! Aby changed the most I think from the 1st book! Yes she was still a little whiny & annoying but she was also more confident & mature! It was nice to watch her grow!

Stacey! OMG I seriously LOLed with her! She's a hoot! Got to love the outspoken besty!

We go on a journey of Alex & Aby to try to find their love! To build that love! Can they survive their pasts? Can they overcome all of the drama or will it destroy them?

Great ending & perfect end to Alex & Aby's story!

Take a Bow is the second part in the Perfect Plans series written by CJ Wells. It starts off with Alex following Aby after she leaves London and returns home. Alex runs into Aby’s former husband as they are signing the finial divorce papers, and jumps to conclusions due to the way Aby left him when she left London. After all Alex and Aby have been through will their love be enough? Was it worth it for Aby to have walked away from her life, husband, job and friends to find the happiness that she was looking for?
Take a Bow, is such a great sequel to the first book Perfect Plans. Wells did an amazing job at grabbing the reader’s attention and holding it the whole book through. Alex is such an amazing character, you fall in love with him so easily. The way he is willing to work for the woman that he loves is amazing. Aby is the type of woman that you just have to have respect for, she was willing to walk away from everything and go after what she wants. And of course who doesn't love some steamy sex scenes! What a great book, I would highly recommend the series to anyone, I absolutely loved it!

Take A Bow picks up where Perfect Plans left off. Aby and Alex are a bundle of confusion and it takes trial and error and some twists and turns for them to figure out their course. On their road to self discovery, there's some steamy scenes that may just melt your screen.. you've been warned. ;)

CJ Wells set out to share what most of us only dream of... an every day girl gets the famous man of her dreams. I can't even begin to imagine how I'd react, but most of us would take a journey similar to Aby's. So no matter how frustrated she made me.. I understand her and if I'm honest, there's probably a lot of the same reaction in me which is why I was frustrated with her. I adored the supporting characters, even the annoying ones. They really know how to tell a story with a supporting cast that fits intricately into the story and I love that.

I cannot wait for their next book..the teaser in the end made me run to ϻӮ to see if I could mark it on my list of To Be Reads...

Alex is my new Hero

Finally after a month of trying to finish this book I reached the end. The end was no doubt perfect. I loved that the wedding is described in the book, it's something I always long for at the end of most stories.
Reading the book I could picture these 2 together in every scene. It was so perfectly described as if I was looking at it, like in a movie. The ultimate surprise for me was that Alex left Aby after Ben was in the hospital. I really didn't understood why, but got there in the end. I felt her pain and confusion. Glad she had a friend like Stacey, but in my mind I thought it was childish of him to leave her like that, so Alex had to make it up to me too. And he did, PERFECTLY. I loved how he got to her at the right time at her friends wedding and they did have a great night .
As you know now, I enjoyed this book as much as Perfect Plans. Two thumbs up girl, looking forward to more of your material.

I loved Perfect Plans and the finale to Aby and Alex's story in Take a Bow didn't disappoint. As I previously stated the Wells sisters have an amazing knack for writing erotic romance. Holy hotness !!!! I found myself emotionally invested in the storey to the point of yelling at Aby for doubting herself and not being stronger in her confidence (thought I get it - I don't know how I'd feel if I dated a famous heartthrob). And Alex....oh my. HOT

I also found myself intrigued with Stacey (the fabulous BFF)... I noted in Take a Bow that Stacey would overcompensate with humour to get her through situations. I would love for her to have her own story to understand why. I found myself laughing and having a sense of closure. Great ending to the series!

Shh... the sinful sex did me in. OMG am I a nympho? Don't answer that.

Sometimes we lose hope and wonder if our dreams are a lost cause. We sometimes get another chance and sometimes we have that taken. One thing we can never do is that that choice away from someone else. Love is something you can't change, it doesn't let go. Everything takes work, mostly relationships. When you love someone so much you have to learn to trust even when your scared and you can't help but assume the worst. In the end you trust your dreams will come true because you love someone with all your heart and you trust them because of your love .

Wells does it again with another 5 stars for Take a Bow. If you have not read Perfect Plans, you will want to check this one out before reading Take a Bow, and you will not be disappointed - I would give the Perfect Plans series a solid 5 stars. This sequel to "Perfect Plans" exceeded my expectations. "Take a Bow" allows the reader an opportunity to join Alex and Aby on their continued journey. Through the highs and lows, the passion and the frustration, the lies and the truths; you can't help but feel it all, along with them. Thank you C.J. Wells for down to earth, yet enticing characters that you simply fall in love with. The premise of meeting your favourite hunk celebrity and "what would I do?" in that situation, couldn't have been told any better! Simply loved it!

After Aby runs back to Toronto she's face to face with her ex getting the closure they need. However Alex will stop at nothing to find her which is what he does. The woman he loves promised not to leave and that's just what she did, she left him. Can Alex get Aby back, and can Aby deal with all the media that surrounds him. Plus the fact that Julia has a huge secret of her own that could destroy this whole relationship as well. Alex and Aby will have to fight if they want their happy ending. Will they be strong enough to do that or will Aby run again?

Absolutely amazing conclusion to an amazing love story. This story touched my heart and I knew when I started this second book I would not be able to stop until the end. Aby and Alex hit many bumps along the path of their road to true love but this is what makes this story even better. Reading about a love that is not perfect and seems so real makes for a perfect story to me. I high recommend this series to anyone who loves hot steamy stories that keep you up long into the night to finish reading.

Literally me - reading this...

I think the only reason why I held on to the end was because of Stacey, who isn't even our main character (though I wish she was), but the "h's" best friend.

Aby - I have total mental whiplash from her emotions, contridcations, hypocrisy, immaturity, denseness...
Alex - he had his moments with me but I still have questions that will never be answered...

Sorry.

Alexander is still being the same. His jealousy and possesiveness has no boundaries. They have it all now, the love, passion but still their beautiful relationship, full of passion and love is tested by the outsiders. Lost trust is regained after long sleepless nights. When I was reading this book, I was up and down, happy and sad, smiling and sobbing my heart out, but I wouldn't change that for anything, because this journey with Aby and Alexander has been truly wonderful. <3

Take a Bow is a sequel I've been longing to read, desperate to know what came next for Aby & Alex after the cliffhanger which we were left on at the end of PP, and the continuation into their journey didn't disappoint.

Loved every single moment of Alex & Aby's story. A great series in my opinion, that will leave you craving more from these two loveable characters.
