this was really great!

i especially liked the interrogating questions for the review on who fears death by nnedi okorafor. i've read the book multiple times, once for myself and twice to help my siblings analyze it for school projects. i never really interrogated it in the way where it might explore rape culture. it was definitely a big part of the character's journey but i never looked at it with such a careful lens.

in contrast, i read octavia butler's parables and started the patternist and xenogenesis series and read them very deeply and critically. i'm looking forward to immerse myself in science fiction wholly and completely.

sometimes i just want to turn my brain off and ~vibe~ though so we'll see! : )
