People so confidently say "I know!" "I have proof!" And while these powerful sentences for some reason look very persuasive, they mean nothing. They are just words. They are just a strong mindset. Either a deceived one tells them or one who deceives. Before these declarations, there should be questions: "Do I know?" "Is this proof?" The only confident thing to say is "I cannot actually know." "This 'proof' might be fake." Believe nothing, doubt everything especially when others believe everything and doubt nothing. Knowing nothing is the next best solution to the lies, to the deceit, to the misinformation.
Praise for author's quotes: "Truth!" - "True." - "That's a really beautiful sentiment and resonates deeply with me." - "Quintessentially deep prosaic. More grease to your literary elbows." - "Deeply and profoundly true!" - "Hard truth." - "Yes, truth is decency." - "Deep." - "Wise!" - "Aligning with transformation." - "That's for sure." - "Wise words." - "100%!" - "Please let me know when your book will be available. I would like to buy it." - "Awesome work" - "Am awed by this. Well literarily stated." - "Thank you for your concern. You made my day!"

I was given this ARC as a gift from the author. My opinions and thoughts of the book are mine alone.
My Rating: I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I loved the honesty in this book. This book was quick and pretty easy to read. While I liked the book, I don’t know if I will open it again. I want to believe I will because I want to see the opinions when changes in the world happen. Maybe in 10 years, the author’s opinions are important to remember and learn from again. I believe that readers should read this book with an open mind and ask questions as well.
This was quite an interesting read from a millennial’s point of view.
I always find it interesting how different each generation views the world. Or reacts to how we treat and interact with each other.
While I don’t agree with all the points of view in this book, you do have to take someone’s events that they have experienced in life into consideration on why they think the way they do. And that includes what is also going on in the world at the time.
I really like how the author puts everything out there. She doesn’t hold back, which is noble.
One of my challenges this year was reading books I usually do not read. Nonfiction books ranked very high on that list (they were third, behind autobiography and biography). So when the author emailed me back in March and requested the review, I accepted. This book was unlike anything I have read before, and I am glad I read it.
This review will be short because it differs from other books I have read. There are no main characters (the author talks in 1st person for the entire book). So keep this in mind when you read what I write below.
The Impossible Truth Of Knowing Nothing was a fast and quick read (the book is only 78 pages ). The author made several good points throughout the book, making me think. But this book isn’t for everyone; if you read it, keep an open mind. The author does make some controversial points in the book.
I recommend The Impossible Proof Of Knowing Nothing for anyone over 21. There are no sexual situations, language, and violence.
Many thanks to Maria Karvouni Truth for allowing me to read and review The Impossible Truth Of Knowing Nothing. All opinions stated in this review are mine.
Thank you for arc read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. If you take the time it so worthy of a read. I have to say this book..to me it gave the Alice and the caterpillar feel. Which is a good thing to me, as it leads the reader to follow the trail of thinking for one's self, not just taking in information but also the technology to resist the lies that society feeds. If you take the time it so worthy of a read.ÌýÌý
Humans are inherently honest. But, they also have the capacity to lie. People may hide the truth for varied reasons, such as to protect themselves or their loved ones. They may also lie to achieve the desired result. And, sadly though, there are people who, for some reason, are habitual liars.Ìý Ironically, in this era of modern technology and social media, it is difficult to distinguish a truth from a lie anymore. Fake news abounds and yellow journalism seeps into the mainstream media.Ìý
The Impossible Proof of Knowing Nothing is the author's personal sentiment on truth and lies. Maria Karvouni Truth's proposition revolves around a person's unreliability, asserting that,
"No person is a reliable source of information".
She points out that the changing of seasons must have contributed to what she has observed. She further says that in this period of advancement in technology, the truth is indistinguishable from lies. Thus, she advises her readers to be prudent on any statement presented before them.
Apparently, the author finds it difficult to trust anyone. She is convinced that reasoning is not always valid because a spoken statement may have contradicted the actual thoughts of a person.
Truth or Lie: About the Book and the Author
Maria Karvouni Truth must have been affected by the events of her time. It's the period when fake news abounds and yellow journalism seems like the credible one. In her book, The Impossible Proof of Knowing Nothing, the author pours out her frustrations and views on truth and lies. And, I understand her skepticism about everything. Modern technology and social media contribute much to the shaping of people's attitudes and beliefs. The proliferation of fake news, yellow journalism, and half-truths are the top news trends.
I'm glad Maria presents the issues of truth and lies to raise awareness among her readers. She attempts to do a philosophic approach in her writing, and I appreciate it. It's a fresh method of presenting her story. However, she is not consistent in substantiating her position. There are even parts where she contradicts herself. She also writes long sentences, putting several facts into them all at once. Thus, making her statements confusing.
Meanwhile, on the technical side, The Impossible Proof of Knowing Nothing contains several typographical and grammatical errors. I recommend that the author submits a copy of the book for another round of proofreading and editing before any reproduction were made.Ìý Moreover, the book cover needs a bit of improvement, particularly in print quality. The copy I got has a blurry title.
Overall, I give The Impossible Proof of Knowing Nothing a rating of 2 out of 5 stars
