unsure i can write a proper review for this. it was dense. it was mainly a book with a lot of detail and facts and truly helped me understand how interconnected all these different systems of detention, migration and surveillance are. walia walks us thru the threads from history to where we are today. an incredibly thorough and informative read, a must for anyone who is interested in understanding how our world is currently shaped, how & why humans migrate and how those feed into capital. highly
