My head is still buzzing with this...

Casey McQuiston has done it again and this time she brings us an epic love story with terrific protagonists along with a funny and warm group of secondary characters.

And does anyone else wonder if she was a little bit inspired by the very old Kingston Trio song Man Who Never Returned (MTA)?

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this book. It took me a while to get around to reading it because I wasn't sure, but I'm glad I finally did.

I enjoyed the entire cast of characters. I did leave wondering what genre to place this in on my shelves with everything that was going on with Jane.

My favorite thing about this book was the support that they all showered one another with. It reminded me of a more quirky take of Friends.

August moves to New York City, moves into an apartment with a psychic, which she likes is a fake. Her new roommates invite her out with them and she is taken aback. She is not used to that. She and her mother have always been loners. She doesn窶冲 believe in love, magic or basic connection. All that changes as the story progresses.

She finds a girl on the subway that seems to be there every time August gets on. She really likes this girl and asks her on a date but Jane turns her down. August knew ...more
