Another fun book in this series! I like Morgan and Amar, but Sian (Morgan's sister) may be my favorite character! She reminds me of Dr. Lenox (character on Chicago Med) whenever I hear her speak and I see the expressions that Dr. Lenox has on Med!
This book was another villain to conquer, but it was an outsider/someone from the past so not as exciting as when the witches and werewolves were fighting each other. He was creepy and put up a good fight!

The series is staying strong, mainly due to the characters I've gotten hooked on. Finally we get more worthy witch moments, too - Ute was an absolute hoot, especially in the forest; Wendy remains adorable with her ferret Neopolitan (love the backstory of how he came to be her familiar); Phoebe - who was hit or miss for me - is now a hit again; even Bernadette gets shiny new page scenes.
