Antonia faces a lot of tough choices. It would be a good book discussion pick.

Is this a enemies to lovers, a best friend to lovers, or sometimes parents are just trying their best? Or maybe a rich people have feelings, too, book? You'll have to read it to find out! It's definitely an all the side characters are better than the main character book. lol. But really.
Also, I've seen some 'tubers talk about how the kids in this book drink and smoke. So.. in case that's something you hate: the kids are not straight-edge in this book.
Check out my post about this and two other books. ...more

It was quick and easy, much like George's journey here, but I don't fault the book for this, a first step in George's story.

However, book 3 introduces a new character that I really just do not care about at all. And the story ended for me way before it ended in the book; the storylines I was interested in were done but there was extra stuff to wrap up. I plan to do a series review. We'll see how it goes.

This is the story of a girl who has run off to NYC, having cut ties with all of her friends. I enjoyed the book, though I was a little disappointed in the big secret at the end. But, I think I am a heartless robot... or that's what my husband says. meh.

My review: I got this book from a YA box subscription that I didn't really want. So, maybe I'm salty about that. But I don't think so. I might also be done with over-done tropes. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's just jump in...

I'd say this was a bit Night Circus, wizard of oz, and one of those horror movies with the old switcheroo at the end.
All in all, I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. It’s a quick read (for a grown- ass woman) that is fun and interesting. I Received for free for a review:

Urgh!! I wrote a long thing about how much I really like this book and then it got lost during the save! I'm definitely not going to write it again. BUrgh!!
