This is going to stick with me for a while. Questions were answered, loose ends were tied up, and right off the bat, we see the power of controlling the narrative, and how history can essentially be rewritten if the right strings are pulled.

I'm a character-driven reader, so naturally, I loved the expansion on old characters and the introduction of new ones. Wiress in particular went from a character I liked well enough to a character I love. District 3 was serving both impressive skill and sad circumstances in general, leaving the reader gutted, but also feeling more respect for the tech district.
The honor of my favorite character, however, has got to go to "the meanest girl in town", Maysilee Donner, whose attitude and personality captured my attention right away. She's a girl after my own heart, what can I say?
