As an autistic reader, Axel is one of the most relatable main characters I have ever read. I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy of this book so that I can annotate and highlight all of my favorite lines from this book. It is so so important to see honest, accepted, well-written autism rep in books and Chloe Liese does not disappoint. I can’t even express how amazing it is to see Rooney love and accept all that Axel is. This book was healing to read, and was so so emotional for me.

I will honestly read anything that Chloe Liese writes, and I cannot wait to read more romances set around the Bergman family! I really recommend this book!

I also loved seeing her with her job as an influencer—this was probably the first time I’ve read a book that has a main character as an influencer, where the author really respects the job and considers it a real job… idk if that makes sense? It was cool, though.

And Eros… my lovely baby Eros. My gods. I think my favorite part of this book is reading about him realizing his love for Psyche, as well as learning that he can be loved. I almost loved him as much as I loved Hades… which is hard to do because I love Hades so damn much.

I also really loved getting to see more of Psyche’s family, the other children of the 13, as well as more of Persephone and Hades just being the lovely and adorable Bi couple we all know and love.

I could go on and on about how much I love this book and this series and how much everyone should read it.

I cannot express how excited I am for the next book in this series! I will forever consume anything that Katee Robert writes and I cannot wait for her next book.

To say I was excited to read this book would be a GIGANTIC understatement. This is probably my most anticipated book of 2022 and it was not a disappointment.

WOW THIS BOOK played with all of my emotions. I laughed and cried and squealed with joy.

I purposely tried to go into this book blind. Which was very hard to do when all of my friends were super excited for it. And this plot took me so many places, and made me feel so many things. I have loved Casey McQuiston’s writing in the past, and I can’t really believe I am saying this… but this is my favorite book of theirs. YES, you read my review right… this book topped RWARB for me! McQuiston’s writing shined in this book, her prose and characterization making the story feel alive and filled with love.

When I started this book, I wasn’t sure how much of it was going to be Queer. I know… I shouldn’t have doubted McQuiston, and I don’t even know why I thought that certain characters were just side characters… but there is one couple that I shipped right from the beginning and a part of me doubted it would happen and WHEN IT HAPPENED I SQUEALED WITH JOY. So often, Queer readers see these relationships and they are covered by heteronormativity and it is such a breath of fresh air to have a book that is just beautifully Queer in everything that it is. Reading a book where everyone is just their beautiful Queer selves and discovering their own individual Queer identities together and on their own, was so beautiful. I cried a lot at the end of this book. Big, fat ugly HAPPY GAY tears.

I wish I could have had a book like this in high school. This is a love letter to Queer teens everywhere and is a beautiful exploration of self, sexuality, gender, friendship and love.

I cannot recommend this book enough! Please go read it!

To say I was excited to read this book would be a GIGANTIC understatement. This is probably my most anticipated book of 2022 and it was not a disappointment.

WOW THIS BOOK played with all of my emotions. I laughed and cried and squealed with joy.

I purposely tried to go into this book blind. Which was very hard to do when all of my friends were super excited for it. And this plot took me so many places, and made me feel so many things. I have loved Casey McQuiston’s writing in the past, and I can’t really believe I am saying this… but this is my favorite book of theirs. YES, you read my review right… this book topped RWARB for me! McQuiston’s writing shined in this book, her prose and characterization making the story feel alive and filled with love.

When I say I am a big fan of Chloe’s books, I mean that I am A BIG FAN of Chloe’s books. So I was super excited to read the next installment in the Bergman Brothers series—a series that has made me feel so loved and seen as an autistic reader. And I was especially excited because this book has everything I needed: chronic pain rep, anxiety rep, sports romance, AND IT IS GAY! *Cheers in Gay*

To be completely honest, I was a bit hesitant going into this book because I knew it might be a bit triggering. As someone who does deal with panic attacks and severe anxiety AND chronic pain caused by a sports injury in my hip and back (yes I did feel a bit personally attacked, Chloe, my emotions were not okay in this book), Chloe handled it all beautifully. Where there are some panic attacks and discussions around homophobia on the page, it did not feel excessive or there to only cause drama. It felt real and honest. And the chronic pain rep was really well done. I loved how Chloe was very aware of just how much living with chronic pain can impact every moment of every day. What Gavin is going through was so personal and so real that sometimes it was a bit difficult for me to read. There were only two times where I wished discussions around leaving the sport were discussed a bit further (however, I can understand how it wasn’t discussed, especially as a past athlete, because sometimes the trauma from your own sport can be something you only work through a long time after you do leave the sport), but other than that I did love it.

For me, the Queer rep was good! I loved how this book did discuss homophobia in the sports world but did not make the story about that. It was about Gavin and Oliver’s romance and love and that was a beautiful story to read about. Both of these characters have their own trauma that they have to work through, and sometimes it was a bit painful to watch them work through it, but in the end the romance felt real and beautiful.

And this book! It is HOT! This book is sexy and fun and I loved seeing Oliver and Gavin’s beautiful love story on the page!

Ultimately, I thought that this was a beautiful book and I cannot wait to read more from Chloe Liese in the future! If you have yet to pick up this romance series… what is stopping you? I cannot recommend it enough!

I adored Alex and Lauren’s love story so much. It was so natural and beautiful, and I could not stop falling in love with both of their characters.

One of my favorite aspects of this book was its rep of ADHD and neurodivergence. Honestly, this book made me cry and it was so beautifully done. I love seeing romance and more books with neurodivergent rep.

I have loved Romina’s writing and stories for years and this book is no exception. I loved the first book in the series, LOBIZONA, and this is such an incredible addition to the story. If you loved the first book, or have loved Romina’s other books, then I really recommend picking this one up.

All of the characters were so well thought out. The plot was intricate and I was never bored. Romina's writing is so elegant and strong. She weaves together sentences that burrow into your heart and soul and will impact you for life.
