"1. There's something...suspicious about Renarin. All will be revealed in time, I guess.
2. The battle at Rathalas was awful. It's also amazing just how much Dalinar has grown from the man he was then to the one he is now.

"1. Kadash said to Dalinar, 鈥淵ou shouldn鈥檛 need proof in the Almighty."
Proof and faith aren't mutually exclusive.
2. Kaladin finding the monstrous terrors from the mythological past, enemies of all that was right and good, destroyers who had laid waste to civilization countless times playing cards sent me

"1. Shallan's stormlight adaptation of 'The Girl Who Looked Up' is brilliant. Step aside, modern cinema!
2. The murder mystery just became more intriguing, and I am fully onboard now.
3. "I just need to go deeper," she whispered. "I can't be Veil only on the surface". Honey, are you sure that's safe?
4. Dalinar calling Navani 'gemheart" melts my crem-hardened heart."

"So, 7,500 years of torture vs 3000 years of torture and 4,500 years of guilt.
In the end, leaving Taln was a good strategy, I think. Brutal, but sound."

Did you finish it? Isn't it great? The best series I've ever read.

I actually just started a few days ago. I'm surprised at how much I like the flashbacks to Dalinar's past, and Kaladin really showed up in Hearthstone and left superhero style. I love it!
Yes exactly, Dalinar is my favorite character in this whole series. Do you remember when in 'The Way of Kings' he gives away his Shardblade to save Kaladin and his crew? That scene was amazing. Sanderson is a genius.

Yes, definitely in the top 5 moments in all three books. I read 'Way of Kings' years back and still remember it like it happened yesterday. These books, they really stay with you. I'm going to reread then soon after I'm done with Malazan.

Oh. Malazan. What book are you reading? I read Gardens of the Moon last year, but I didn't like it enough to continue the series.
Yeah I know the feeling. I read till 'Deadhouse Gates' years back and then left the series. But the thing is, it gets exciting by the third book, then you are hooked. I'll start Malazan from the first book after I've finished 'Wrath' by John Gwynne. Currently I'm on 'Ruin'.
I'll let you know when I start Malazan. If you're in, we can buddy read.

It gets exciting by the third book? The third book?! That's a hundreds of pages to trudge through. I'm down for a buddy read. That's really the only way I'll be getting through the Malazan Book of the Fallen. Thank you :)
John Gwynne's 'The Faithful and the Fallen" series is on my list. Hopefully I get to read it this year. Do you like it so far?
'Faithful and The Fallen' is good. The pacing is fast. I've heard many call it a grim series. But it's not so grim as GOT or 'The Blade Itself'. I can only tell you more after reading the last book, the story's still in the offing.
That's great. I'll message you once I get to Malazan. Hopefully soon.鉁

Before 'Faithful And The Fallen', try 'The Licanius Trilogy' by James Islington, if you haven't. After Stormlight Archive, that's the best series I've ever read.

I want to read The Blade Itself. Read my first Abercrombie books, "Shattered Sea" last month and I loved it.
'The Blade Itself' is good. You'll enjoy it.
