Writing this book with the amazing Alta Hensley was frankly a magical experience, and I'm not blowing smoke up your butt, lmao! If you want some inside deets about how co-writing this book worked: Alta wrote Montgomery's POV and I wrote Grace, then we'd edit each other's chapters. It was a great way to get really distinctive, different voices for the two characters.

Plus, it was just hella fun finding out what Alta had written for me to pick up answer. We had a basic outline, but we'd start setting little Easter eggs, put them in intense situations or do something crazy at the end of the chapter so the other person would have a fun new challenge when they picked it up. It made writing feel exciting after I'd gone through a slump earlier in the year. Now we're writing book 2-Sully's Book-and good Lawd, we're having a blast with pushing the limits even further :D
