Sylvia Rieß | 5 comments Hello everyone.

I hope I got it right this time. :) Though I already entered GR in 2015 when my first novel got published, I try to start anew now for a very special reason.

But first things first: Who am I?

Well in the meantime I am a passionate an animal crazy country vet soon owning her own praxis but I am cursed with the gift of seeing into other worlds and magic realms. ;) Meaning, that I have been writing my whole life as soon as I could hold a pen. Becoming an author AND a vet was always my big dream ... and this is where I ende up. ;)
As I mentioned, my first book was published in Mai 2015, however I'm German and never really found a way into the GR community of German writers.
By now I have published 6 book as a selfpublisher. 3 are part of series (Der Stern von Erui) a modern fairytale (Der Axolotlkönig) and a funtasy novel (Herr der sieben Königreiche) you can find them all here, if you are interested:

in two day my seventh novel is published, this time with a smal but very nice publisher and even got illustrated. :)

Yet my biggest project still is my first high fantasy series. My heart is set to it, and I was always glad, that my readers loved that story most of all. So I hired a translator and in only two weeks time the first book in the series is published in English. (Ebook and Paperback will be available. :) )

It is the story that haunted me almost all my life, growing from a child dream into a full blown adult fantasy realm with a 10.000 year old history and so many tales I already started a new trilogy (in German) in it. :)

So if you like intrcate and woven plotlines with many characters and turns and riddles on every corner, you probably like this book. (and the sequels, once they are finished. :) )

EDIT: Finally I succeeded in editing a paperback version of my book as well. It is available here:

See you soon,

Sylvia
