Have you seen the 1995 Sense and Sensibility movie? I watched it but didn't really like it and now im wondering if i should read the book

Ally (alliereads33) Has anyone read a tale of two cities? I have the book but I tried reading it and I only got to the like 6th page and I gave up. Should I continue with it??

Hmmm, I would say that Treasure Island is good book to begin with :)

Jane Eyre
The Picture of Dorian Gray
Frankenstein
Dracula (although, I was a little disappointed with the climax of the story)
Wuthering Heights

and I recommend all of them!!

I LOVE Wuthering Heights, and the picture of dorian gray, although I'm not a big fan of Jane Eyre :)

I would recommend Northanger Abbey! It's one of Jane Austen's shorter works and it's a lot easier to read than most classics, bc it has a simpler and less dense writing style.

The Scarlet Pimpernel is really good! It's pretty fast moving and easy to understand too. It was the first classic my sister read, and it's what got her into classics!
