I finally got approved for a new place to live so very excited about that! April was a really rough month dealing with it all so looking forward to settling in to a fresh home. :) Picking up the keys Friday!

Now to finish the packing ...

I have only been getting a trickle here and there and I should be getting a lot!

In my case, I will avoid at all cost the sun, my allergy is barely a bit better *shudders and hides in vampire cape*

I don’t get notifications except for the buddy read threads I’m participating in. I prefer to continually check in like a creep to see if anybody has come to hang out.

As far as weekend plans, I’m feeling sick this weekend so luckily we didn’t have much by way of plans anyway. I’ve just been chilling. Doing a little reading but also rewatching Stranger Things in preparation for the new season.

Sorry you are feeling bad - hope you feel better. Chillin' and watching tv is great! I need to get back to watching Stranger Things too - I got caught up in watching Outer Range and now watching Night Sky. Too many things to watch. lol

@Felina: I hope you feel better soon, my friend! LoL my wife and I (plus our cockapoo puppy Ozzy Skywalker) watched Stranger Things as well to be all caught up for Friday, I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I finished "The Hunting Party" last night and started "Between Two Fires" today to continue having a chill weekend. It's like 90 degrees outside here in New York so we might take Ozzy out for a drive or something, we shall see :-)

I'm spending time with my mother & sister this weekend. My mother lives more than 1,000 miles away, so I hadn't seen her in a few years.

@alia: I have never seen a single episode until about last week and I can honestly tell you it completely blew me away. It is beyond amazing, fantastic, and just checks all the boxes with its sci-fi horror, 80s vibe, great characters, brilliant writing, plot twists, and edge-of-your-seat television.

It's so good!

Age or something hit me hard this last year, my attention span is extremely short, haven't watched series or movies in a while. Cant live whiteout horror, so I watch documentaries in fragments lol

@alia: Very awesome and yeah, if you ever get to it, would love to hear your thoughts on it! I'm also like you where I don't really watch TV shows, I prefer novels, then movies. If I do watch a TV series, I prefer either when it's all done and ready to binge-watch or about to be over, which is why I decided to watch all of Stranger Things now since the final season, Season 4, drops at the end of next week and then again a few weeks later to end it entirely :-)

I also LOVE horror documentaries, serial killer documentaries, jail documentaries, all that stuff. Netflix has a great amount of these!

I love Stranger Things. I’ve seen them through so many times. And I love it every time I watch it.

Agree! But my favorite scenes are Dustin and Steve together! And also Erica (Lucas' little sister) cracks me up!

I've noticed it. Here I thought GR may have fixed the problem by now!

I am basically unpacking in my spare time, but since I'm working 6 days there's not a lot of that haha. On the plus side, I just smashed through all 9 volumes of Saga at work over the past three days XD Quiet days are good days!

I think Jonathan acts stupid because of Nancy. Stupid Nancy! But he is kinda weird.

Yes they are definitely the dynamic duo and I love Steve giving Dustin hair tips LOL. It looks like the littke sister Erica will have more of a role in the new season so I'm excited for that too

Agreed! His creepy vibes just made Steve all the more endearing and I fully support the Steve/Dustin bromance.

@Krystal: I hope your move has gone well as you got this! LoL unpacking after a move always took me a while. As a matter of fact, I still have a few boxes I've yet to go through from my move back in 2018!
