馃One person should NOT complete a whole chain by themselves. This is a team challenge.
馃You may choose which creature to capture first but you MUST complete it BEFORE starting a new creature.
馃You may use or drop articles: A, An, The
馃If you somehow manage to incorporate a Formal Buddy Read book into a chain, you will earn 2 bonus points. See the buddy read folder for the current book. They are also listed in the spreadsheet dropdown list (when your team has a thread & spreadsheet assigned to them).

Scoring
You will get 3 points for every completed book (9 per completed chain) PLUS page points.

Sounds good! I think to make it fair we each get one task in each chain right? I'm off to pick a pumpkin book to work on that this weekend first.

I'm Anna and live in Southern Indiana. I read tons on the weekends and during the week my life is a little up and down. I'm married and we have one dog and no kids. I'm also a challenge reading junkie and in all the things....

I think your idea with 1 book each task is pretty good!

I finished my pumpkin book and went and added it to the spreadsheet. Carol, would you like book 2 or 3 in the consecutive number series and Christine would you like B or C in the letters? Trying to plan out my next couple books. I'm still working on trying to figure out which Mummy book to read.

Hi team! I have a question for you. I am getting questions about finishing early and redoing tasks for higher points. Would you like an opportunity for a bonus monster instead? The bonus monster would have a couple of extra books required because it is a higher difficulty monster to chain. Thoughts? I want input from all the teams before I go forward with offering the bonus.

Sure, sounds good to me! I can read a book 3 of something. I hope it gets less stressful for you. I totally can relate to the ups and downs of real life situations.

I'm always open for a bonus monster. :)

Hey Deanna welcome! This looks like it's going to be a fun challenge. I'm pretty easy over here. My Sweet Alaskan book actually has pumpkins on the cover so I used it for arm 2. You can take either A or C on the arm 1 and for leg 2 go ahead and read book 3 and I'll take book 2. I just finished a book today that works for book 2 so it just feel in the cards.

I found a C book I can read.

There's a possibility I can get better points for my book 2 in the sequence so I'm holding off entering that one. I'm also searching for an A book but it may be a couple days for me to get it read. I got myself in a couple things that I have to read for first.

Went down a rabbit hole of Game of Thrones for another challenge and my poor ears are a little sore from listening on chipmunk speed for two days along with reading some of the book also to give my ears a break but they worked for the last two body parts. Take your time finishing y'all's last books because I'm not touching a book today and the next few days I plan on reading nothing but steamy, fluffy romance books.

I have to work this evening, but I should finish up my last mummy book tomorrow.

Finished up my C book and finished and replaced my series #3 with a longer book. Christene, how's the mummy book coming?

I have two more books left and I should have one finished later tonight and one finished hopefully tomorrow. I'm going to be scrambling to get some end of the month things read so I'm switching out my last book to try to fit a few things.

Just posted my last two books. I thought I had a black cover yesterday but it didn't really count as black so I found one today. :)

I have one left to finish. Will try to get it done tomorrow. If not, I'm off Tuesday and can definitely finish it then.

I have 2 longer books that I would like to read soon that start with A and D, but I can find other letters as well.

I can do #1 on the series currently reading LOTR :)
and "C" will be reading Coraline for that task

I can find a book for #2. I can find a B book so you can pick either one of those books.

I moved my last book to tomorrow because it will fit a few things that I'm working on but I plan on knocking it out in the middle. I'm finishing up my 3rd book this afternoon.
