I just noticed that the description of author Agustín Laje has been modified and the description includes a serious misrepresentation of his ideas. He's not a "neonazi" as it says here. The description also says he "opposes acquired rights" which I think is a subjective opinion. Finally, they call him "a clown without equal" ("un payaso sin igual").

I have also noticed that most of his books have been blocked for reviewing and rating for no apparent reason.

Even though I disagree with this author on every level, I think this kind of practices are unacceptable.

They were marked "Invalid" which blocks them from being reviewed/rated going forward. Quite an act of vandalism.

Here's one example: /book/show/5... Looks like the covers may be being removed & author names & librarian notes.

I'm literally flagging all of that librarian's edits right now as vandalism, found several so far. Just look at their edit log and you can't miss them.

Ah, I see now. Strange to only do it to some editions, or maybe it was hoped they wouldn't be noticed as they were not primary.

it might be more efficient to write to staff (if it's always the same librarian) with some examples - saves time and a lot of clicks.

I flagged a couple different things and mentioned other violations in the descriptions.

I flagged about half a dozen and then wrote in the comments that there were too many to flag, they needed to review all of them over the past several days.

I didn't remove the photo, also put the real covers again, and do the real biography. If you have some trouble with me, tell me in private, not in a discuss in public.

Thanks Scott. It's looks like it's already been vandalized again *sigh* There is no point in asking you and other ethical librarians to keep fixing things before the root cause is dealt with. Thanks for the efforts. If you can, flag or escalate to GR staff, maybe if enough reports come in they will deal with the problem.
