message 2: by franche (new)

franche | 2 comments Hello! My name is Franche. I am a psychology major and fashion enthusiast (hence my Carla Bruni profile picture). I am 19 years old and have always loved to read, however, this is my first time getting into goodreads -- I've never really used it before. Looking for new friends and discussions. I love analyzing and breaking down books along with investigation! If I could choose any other major it would certainly be Philosophy.

I love to read 18th - 20th century classics and recently have gotten into Dostoevsky. I am dying to read The Idiot and Crime and Punishment (waiting for them to arrive from amazon!). I also love dystopian classic literature like Orwell, Huxley, Atwood, Vonnegut, etc.

I also love reading in Spanish, works from Juan Rulfo, Clarice Lispector, Gabriel Garc铆a M谩rquez, etc. I also enjoy contemporary works like Fiesta en la Madriguera by Juan Pablo Villalobos.

Add me !

Nice to meet you, Kirill. I am in awe of anyone who has a facility with language. I have forgotten the schoolbook French that I once knew and I have never had the daring to tackle any others.
