Make or Break at the Lighthouse B&B was such a delightful surprise. I chose it based purely on the cover so I think I just assumed it was a cozy mystery.

Lola James is a professional matchmaker in London who happens to break her leg at her best friend's wedding. She has to move back home with her parents to their Marram Bay Lighhouse B&B. Stuck in a wheelchair she tries to make the best of it and looks forward to getting back to her old life in London. She meets up with old classmates, including attractive doctor, Will Coleman. Her mom decides she needs something to do besides lounging around and taking painkillers so she places an ad on Facebook volunteering Lola to set up couples who have been unlucky in love. They call themselves The Unmatchables.

What a fantastic group of characters. They were likable and endearing and the setting was just gorgeous. It took a little while to set up the romance storyline and Lola was a bit superficial in the beginning. I ended up really liking this cute chick lit romance. It was a fast and easy read, and I will definitely add Portia MacIntosh to my list of fun authors.
