Erin I am reading whatever I feel like this year!
I am keeping track but with no set number to reach by December 31, 2011. After my 2010 goals, I find it refreshing to read with no goal and no specifics guiding my reading list. I'll keep a record by month as I finish reading them. So much more enjoyable! I can just read...that's what this year is about: just reading.

January:
1. Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo by Heather Wardell ***
2. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens ***
3. The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling ***
4. Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice ****
5. The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice
6. The Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice ****
7. The Hands of the Buddha by Susan Cogan
8. Labor of Love: A Midwife's Memoir by Cara Muhlhahn ***
9. The Hobbit: Or There and Back Again by J.R.R. Tolkien ****
10. The Healer's Apprentice by Melanie Dickerson ****
11. The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien ****

What did you think of Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo?

Erin It was alright - a nice, easy read. I got it free as a nook book and read it on the beach during my holiday break. It was entertaining. I don't read a lot of chick-lit so it was a nice change from my usual reading. I enjoyed it and recommend it if you're looking for something with a "can't-choose-between-my-husband-and-an-old-flame" dilemma. There's more to it than that but that's the basic gist. :)

I don't really read chick-lit either but the title intrigued me. Maybe I will check it out. Thanks!

Erin August
No books in August.
I dedicated my time to my other hobbies & interests that were being neglected.
They were being neglected because they're not as great as reading books.
