Just to throw a hat into the ring, these should all be accessible and a good gateway into other works;
by Michael Albert
by Paulo Freire
by Raj Patel
by Murray Bookchin
by bell hooks
by Rajiv Chandrasekaran
by Frantz Fanon

first a proposal:
let's push back The Rev of Everyday Life to be the group read for May.
that said, if not, it's highly unlikely I can get any of these as hardcopy to read in May in my current sitch and I doubt they're online, so I'll probably miss this month altogether, but Damnnnn that's a good list!! I'd love any of these, but esp.
Fanon
hooks
Freire
Let me add:

simply because I happen to have a copy in hand and it's small and light and easy to carry!
thanks for organizing!!
I know I am prattling through books, and obviously there are nuisances with any book that can be expanded into a full length discussion - so possibly we should talk about an adequate timeframe for locating a book and then getting round to reading and discussing it.

I have a copy of the book, but should we collate a few books and send out a poll? It engages more people that way.
