"I read this masterpiece of gothic fantasy in the space of a day! I rarely read books at such a speed but dearest reader, I simply could not stop!
The world building is vivid and descriptive, the characters full of soul and personality(Shout out to the gargoyle) and the lore felt tangible and real.
I very seldom throw everything else to the side to read something so quickly, yet Rachel Gillig lured me in from the first word and refused to let my attention drift for I felt as if not one sentence was wasted or simply filler. Utterly hypnotizing and highly original. I am a huge fan of the gothic genre and Rachel has nailed it here perfectly with a gorgeous splicing of the two genres so flawlessly executed I fear I may now have a book hangover as in my opinion, this book stands out as something akin to divining one’s own future; The Knight and the Moth is in equal measures intoxicating, mesmerizing, assured, and yet full of intrigue and the unknown..
