Absolutely awful. Author should have never wrote another one after icebreaker, which was so much better. I should have DNF鈥檇 it but I didn鈥檛 馃檮 I kept hoping it would get better. Not sure how a 3rd one will work since she gives spoilers to Henry鈥檚 future in the epilogue of this one. Will not be reading regardless.

This was okay, I was interested to see what the final twists were going to be but it felt like the author was trying too hard as there were so many storylines and forced leads going on despite only having two POV's, which were both incredibly unreliable as Alex is perpetually drunk in this book and Lettie is a teenager. For how much was going on, it was incredibly slow and hard for me to get into, like lets chill on trying so hard to frame the bu ...more
