it was amazing
Growing up is a strangely disproportionate activity. You are 25 but you find yourself often contemplating what it means to be 75- staring down death which is ceaslessly peering down the hallway where you grew up. The inevitability of endings eclipses the beginning and middle of joy, and once endings arrive they are met with both the theatricality of rehearsed performances of grief, and the utter callousness of relief.
