it was amazing
This is the best book I’ve read in years and I read 62 so far this year alone. This may be Notaro’s best work, a wild thing to say considering this book contains none of the hilarity that I originally fell in love with when I fell in love with her writing (before 9/11).

She’s got range! The commitment and depth of the research is astounding, and the time and care and life she breathes into putting this intricate story together is unparalleled.
