really liked it
First five stories are first class. Trademark Murakami's style. I am amazed how quickly he could establish a character, using very few words. Few paragraphs and you feel like you know the character for ages, empathise and strive for the conclusion of the story.

I can't rate the original, but the translation is brilliant. "Pregnant pause" - what a delight.
