Cary Groner’s new novel, “The Way,” launched in the U.S. in December 2024, and will come out in the U.K. in March 2025. Cary's debut novel, “Exiles,” was a Chicago Tribune favorite book of 2011. His short stories have won numerous awards, including the Glimmer Train Fiction Open, and have appeared there and in other venues that include American Fiction, Mississippi Review, Salamander, Southern California Review, Sycamore Review, Tampa Review, and Zymbol. Cary earned his MFA from the University of Arizona in 2009, and has taught fiction writing there, at UCLA online, and at the Berkeley Writing Salon. He lives with his wife in the San Francisco Bay Area. ...more
