A Beginner’s Guide to Drucraft #36: Essentia Capacity In Practice

The previous entry discussed the theory of essentia capacity;  what it is and what it means.  This entry will focus more on how it works in practice.

When Essentia Capacity Matters . . .

A higher essentia capacity allows a drucrafter to use more sigls at once.  Technically it would also allow a drucrafter to use sigls with higher Lorenz ratings, but since these are so rare, the main use for a high e

An Inheritance of Magic by Benedict Jacka
"Delicious.

But let's get the other stuff out of the way first. I loved the Verus novels, so I had to expend some energy trying to give this one the space it needs, especially since it's NOT related to them. Inheritance of Magic is a brand new UF.

Quotes by Benedict Jacka  (?)
Quotes are added by the ÀÏ»¢»úÎÈÓ®·½·¨ community and are not verified by ÀÏ»¢»úÎÈÓ®·½·¨.

“I've heard of a guy in Chicago who advertises in the phone book under "Wizard",though that's probably a urban legend.”
Benedict Jacka, Fated

“I don’t sell spells, and I don’t sell tricks. I don’t carry illusions or marked cards or weighted coins. I cannot sell you an endless purse or help you win the lottery. I can’t make that girl you’ve got your eye on fall in love with you, and I wouldn’t do it even if I could. I don’t have a psychic hotline to your dead relatives, I don’t know if you’re going to be successful in your career, and I don’t know when you’re going to get married. I can’t get you into Hogwarts or any other kind of magic school, and if you even mention those stupid sparkly vampires I will do something unpleasant to you.”
Benedict Jacka, Cursed

“Starbreeze doesn't rest, doesn't sleep and can hear anything carried on moving air. It'd make her the perfect spy, except that most of what she hears goes in one ear and out the other.
"I'm looking for a Precursor relic, a new one"
"What's a relic?" Starbreeze said curiously.
"A powerful magical thing. It would have been found a week or two ago"
"What's a week?”

Olivia Thanks for accepting my friend request. I just finished reading Taken and I thought it was the best in the series so far. I'm eagerly anticipating Chosen.

message 2: by Jen

Jen Merry Christmas and thanks for accepting my request. I read Fated & Cursed within the last week or so and i've just started Taken. Absolutely awesome.

Theresa I'm having the best time with Alex. I agree with Jim Butcher, Alex and Dresden would be great friends. Wouldn't it be fun if they had the chance to work together.
