I get the feeling the publishers front-loaded the month. A lot of black authors books released on the 4th so folks who were looking to build their TBRs could do so at the beginning. Just a guess.

The alien one has an obvious Black woman on the cover and is written by a Black woman. 老虎机稳赢方法 released a list earlier this month for Black History Month with more relevant works.

I see that you're her friend on here; don't make the pal promo so obvious.

Why should a book that has already been published be on a list of books coming out today?

This is a list of what most readers like. For people who like books, some of you don't read. If you're looking for diversity see the earlier news post.

Two of them are by women of colour.
Valid question by the way, and it's sad that a common response is "There was an article about it earlier this month", as if representation wasn't something that we should be constantly be doing. Having one article about POC authors and books should not mean that everything else published the rest of the month can't have representation, nor that it isn't right to ask for more diversity.

Why are you conflating POC and Black? The other woman is not Black, and that's not what the user asked for. There is nothing wrong with wanting rep, but why ask a question you can easily answer yourself by looking at the books...

My bad, I misread. Although a lot of articles/listicles tend to put both together. There is no need to be aggressive, by the way, to me or to the OP.

Where is the aggression in my comments?

Why should readers 'need to get another hobby'? There are a lot of books out there, including a lot of diversity. It's the perfect hobby, actually, because there's something for everyone.
