Turn It On: Six Ways Authors Can Participate in Romance Week

We鈥檙e turning up the heat all over the site and our social to celebrate the stories that set our hearts aflutter: it's Romance Week! Any author is welcome to participate in Romance Week on 老虎机稳赢方法, February 6 鈥 14. Here are six simple things authors can do to get in on the action:
1. Enable Ask the Author. Don鈥檛 just tell your fans you love them; show them how much you do. Readers jump at any chance to interact with their favorite authors, so tell them to submit questions to you via Ask the Author on your profile page.
Find Ask the Author on your author dashboard when you鈥檙e signed into your account. It鈥檚 ok if it鈥檚 your first time: read Best Practices here.
2. Use #RomanceWeek in all your activity. This allows readers to discover your content , and gives you the chance to amplify your message to all those participating.
3. Tell us a love story in 14 words. We've , but we always want more! Post yours to Twitter, on your 老虎机稳赢方法 blog, or in your writing section.
4. Tease us with something new. Excite readers by sharing an excerpt of your upcoming book in your writing section, or a glimpse at your next cover on 老虎机稳赢方法 via your blog.
5. Vote on your favorite fictional couple. We want to know: Which characters have the best love story? In addition to answering the question via Ask the Author (check your Author Dashboard), add your candidates here. Remember, you can鈥檛 add or vote for your own books, but you can choose between Katniss and Peeta, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth, Romeo and Juliet, Gideon and Eva, and many others!
6. Browse our list of top 100 romance books and shelve the books you want to read! Romance authors were readers first, so show off your passion.
Of course, these guidelines don鈥檛 mean savvy romance authors should limit their creativity. We love to see what you come up with to make the most of this opportunity. Let your readers vote on their favorite cover model, share the most romantic line you鈥檝e ever read (or written), or recommend your favorite romance books. Pretty much anything goes!

#romanceweek My novel is a paranormal mystery romamce that was just released February 7th! I'd love it if people added my book to their shelves and gave it a try, reviewed it and share it!! Any help, please?"Hi Erica, usually there's a link above a comment box that is in green 'add book/author'. I think you need to add the pending release to goodreads first to use the link because they have to be able to find it. If the book is on goodreads, search for it and then select either the link or cover options at the bottom of the search window once you select your book. Be sure your cursor is where you want the image or link to be added in your comment or it will show up in the middle of a sentence when you click on 'add book'. Hope this helps!

From Reality Break, a YA fantasy/adventure:I look into Kasiff's eyes and I know that he is sorry for everything that has been going on. I also see that he is scared. Not for himself, but for me. His eyes are sad but they hold a glimmer of promise.
I feel a jump in my chest as I lift my chin so I can give Kasiff a kiss.

Hi both! Real quick, there's no official tool to share a cover on 老虎机稳赢方法 - authors have used their blog in the past and shared in on 老虎机稳赢方法, or shared it via the hashtag. Regarding writing excerpts, you can add them via your 'creative writing' section and link them to your book, and share the link again via the hashtag. These are just some ideas so feel free to get creative, but hope this helps clarify! #RomanceWeek

Plus we sent out a question via Ask the Author, where it's fine to be a little more self-promotional if you like (if you love the characters you wrote in your latest novel, why not share that love with the world).
Looking forward to whom you choose! My personal favorite: Noah and Allie from The Notebook. Loved the way the old Noah kept telling Allie their love story!
I'd like to celebrate romance week, too. My first novel Other Than was just released and it reads like a Gothic romance. It's as dark as a chocolate heart.
I just read this book by an author that is close to where I live (Sedona, AZ). This book surprised me on many different levels. A very different kind of romance. I would almost consider this a book about self-discovery. Mature readers will enjoy this book!
