Hi Brian, let me start by saying im a massive fan of your work and cant wait for the next book in the series. Just interested to see if you would consider expanding the background or maybe some sort of short story of the wings of adom. They are a interesting bunch of people but not much has really been told about how they earned their reputation.

The Wings of Adom are certainly on my (very long) list of side characters/entities I want to explore more in the short fiction. Right now I just finished a short story based on Vlora and I'm working on a murder mystery that features Adamat.

He Brian, how did you decide on naming schemes in your series? I notice some characters, like Mad Ben and Tumblar have last names, whereas everyone else...doesn't? It seemed very odd, the surname situation.

Adamat uses a cane in the Powder Mage, I'd assumed because of his age or an older injury. However, he also uses a cane in Murder at the Kinnen Hotel. Is it just a fashion thing or does he actually need it?
