I'm a little confused about Swift's sexual desires. He maintains throughout the book that he is not interested in sex (though he might have done it sometimes for his own benefit), I don't understand why he had an affair with Edith's student Maja Drazkowski. Any thoughts?
Could it be that she showed him some interest and he thought maybe she could be his next story or idea, or maybe he was hoping to use her for stealing another idea?
